We raise our poultry on organic feed, which is corn and soy-free

We raise Jumbo Cornish Rock crossbreeds. This crossbreed chicken produces fryers with broad breasts and big thighs. We raise our chickens from day-old chicks, and after their time in the brood house, they are free to forage on their own pasture. We do not crowd them or cage them; they are raised steroid and antibiotic-free and are fed organic, corn, and soy-free food and abundant fresh, clean water.

Our fryers are professionally and humanely processed and provided to you as fresh, unfrozen whole fryers. For an additional $1.75 per bird, our processor will package the chicken as a cutup fryer. If you would like this service, we will add this to your final order price.

For 2024, we plan to grow 2 batches of 70 birds. 

Brood 1 – Hatched 15 April 2024 – and will be available 13 June 2024

Brood 2 – Hatched 22 July 2024 – and will be available 19 September 2024

Our appointment with the processor is confirmed. Approximately one week prior to our processing appointment for each batch, we will notify everyone who has placed orders and ask if you would like some or all of your orders to be processed as cut-up and to coordinate a location to deliver your fryers to you.

OUR PROCESS

We charge  $4.60  per pound, based on the weight after processing. We ask for a  $10.00  NON-REFUNDABLE deposit per bird at the time of order, with the balance due upon delivery. If you request to have your fryers cut up, the processor charges an additional  $1.75  per bird, which will be added to your final balance due. Our typical packaged weight ranges from 4 to 6 pounds per bird.

PICK UP

We will coordinate with you to find a convenient location to deliver your processed fryers.
